The scheme envisages construction of a barrage across river Pabar (Tributary of river tons) upstream of village Arakot and a power house near village Tuinii in Distt. Uttarkashi. A drop of 278 meter available between Arakot and Tiuni will be utilized for power generation.
51 m long barrage shall be constructed on river Pabar a tributary of tons in Distt. Uttarkashi to divert water through 3.5 m diameter and 10.5 km long tunnel to feed a surface power house of 63 MW. installed capacity. Power generation on 90% availability shall be 254.8 x 106 KWH.
