The scheme envisages construction of a 72 m. long barrage on river tons near village Hanol in Distt. Dehradun to divert 36 cumecs water through 3.5 m. diameter and 6.0 km. long tunnel to a surface power house of 26.0 MW. installed capacity. Power generation on 90% availability shall be 120.03 x 10 6 KWh.
