It is situated near Uttarkashi. River Bhagirathi will pass through 6 metre dia. and 16 km long tunnel, near Dharasu village will generate 304 (4*76) MW from powerhouse.

Civil works of the project have been completed and the power generation has begun. At full capacity(306 MW), it will generate 1556 MU of power per year and it will earn approximatly Rs. 300 crore/ annum.
