It envisages construction of a barrage 30m long on Yamuna river in Barkot Tehsil of Uttarkashi District. About 14.5 cumecs of water will be diverted through a tunnel of 2.5 m diameter and 12 km in length to a surface power house of 45 MW installed capacity.
